Gun Handling Rules & Conditions

Fujairah Shoot 2025

Gun Handling

You will receive an invitation letter from FMSC after enrollment. Participants must process the firearms from the airlines they're flying on using the invitation letter.

  • Guns must always be in an unloaded condition when manoeuvring.
  • Once removed from the fly case, guns must be transported in a gun slip in all areas, including the championship shooting premises. Please carry a slip with you, and if you do not have one, you will have to purchase one on the spot.
  • On arrival at Dubai International Airport (DXB), the organisers will take control of your gun, which will then be transferred to a secure holding at the shooting venue.
  • No cartridges or ammunition are allowed into the United Arab Emirates whatsoever. All ammunitions for the event will be provided by the organisers and must be shot during the event. No guns or ammunition will be allowed outside of the shooting premises.
  • Starter numbers will be sent to all participating shooters once registration closes.
  • Shooting times will be distributed during the opening ceremony at the shooting venue on 4 February 2025.
  • Guns must be carried unloaded and in gun slips on the ground unless shooting and must always be monitored for safety purposes and stored with the police after the shooting.
  • Once the contestant receive the gun from the gun storage area, it becomes his/her responsibility until they hand it back to the Police after shooting. FMSC is not responsible for any lost or damaged guns while in the contestants' possession.
  • Guns will be transported to Dubai Airport and returned on your registered return flight.
  • Your guns will be safely stored and transported from and to the airport regardless of your arrival and departure date.
